Nothing, that’s what.

Tips for the best Peanut Butter Granola Bars
- If peanut butter isn’t your favorite nut butter, use another! Almond, cashew, or sunflower butter would all work fine here.
- Use a different type of chocolate chip! If you wanted, you can use white chocolate chips, peanut butter chocolate chips, butterscotch chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips. If you wanted to cut down on the carbs, you can always use Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
- If you don’t prefer honey, you can use another type of sweetener like molasses or maple syrup

Notes
What a perfect combination!!! I’ve slowly realized that it takes much more to feed men too! I can image you with your kids, having to buy 3 of the huge peanut butters, haha! These granola bars look delicious and I wish I had one for breakfast right now!
If we ever had a child with a peanut allergy I think he would die! ha!
Men and the grocery store…they are like little lost puppies, aren’t they? These granola bars look so delicious! Perfect little snacks.
Lost puppies are the perfect way to describe them!! Sometimes when I send him with a list of things to get I have to include directions, “walk in the store, turn right..walk 50 paces, look to your left, there is the basil” Ha! 🙂
Holy moly these granola bars look ah-MAZING. I love all the ingredients you’ve used 😉
Thanks Olivia!! They are really great, I hope you try them!:)
Peanut butter and chocolate are the best combination ever! We too eat a lot of peanut butter. I kid you not, my son has had a peanut butter sandwich for his school lunch everyday since he started school. He is 16. That’s a lot of peanut butter sandwiches!
These granola bars look delicious! Totally making these. Pinning!
Oh that is too funny! My coworkers grew up in Columbia and apparently peanut butter is not common there like it is here. They can’t stand the taste or smell, I just totally do not get it! I can’t imagine life without peanut butter! 🙂
I have just printed this recipe and will try it out tonight. Thank you.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy!!
Oh wow. I need these in my life. What camera do you use to take your pictures. They look so professional.
Hey Kevin, Thanks so much! I am still learning the ins and outs of food photography, so that means a lot! I am using a Nikon D5200, it is more on the entry level side of DSLR cameras and I love it, tons of settings but pretty easy to use!
I am so into these kinds of raw granola bars lately. I do like to add a bit (or a lot!) of chocolate, though, just so that they aren’t TOO healthy! And I’m with you on the PB – love the stuff!
Oh me too! The more chocolate the better!! 🙂
Oh I am constantly buying huge jars of peanut butter at Costco, and we’re constantly eating our way thru them. We just love us some peanut butter! These granola bars sound amazing! Is there a better combo than peanut butter and chocolate? Yum!
Absolutely not!! It is the best!
Oh, gosh, These granola bars look sinful! I could definitely wrap my brain around having one of these gorgeous bars for breakfast. So much chocolate! Love it. Pinned! 😉
Isn’t this such a good way to start your day?! Peanut butter chocolate goodness! And a little banana for good measure! 😉
This looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha!!! It’s such a cuteeeee story you’ve shared!!!!!! Peanut butter is the best thing ever! And when combined with chocolate it is pure heaven! 😀 Loveeee these granola bars!
Totally agree!! It doesn’t get any better than that! 🙂
We eat tons of peanut butter around here! The favorite snack is over bananas so I know they’d love these. They look incredible!
Thanks Sherri! I am the exact way! My favorite summer time treat is a frozen banana covered in chocolate and peanut butter! Yum!
What a combination of chocolate, peanut , banana and butter. I think it has a great taste also , great idea.
I LOVE these!!
I had no honey in the house and used maple syrup (slightly less)
And decided not to add the chocolate chips to keep them as healthy as possible.
Scrumptious!!
Thanks billions!! 🙂
