Easy Keto Meal Plan: Week 1
Curious about keto but not sure where to start? I can help! This Easy Keto Meal Plan includes 5 EASY low carb dinners plus a keto breakfast recipe complete with net carb counts and a printable shopping list. Every week I will be sharing new meal plans to take the stress out of keto meal planning. As a general rule I stick to simple recipes that do not require hard to find ingredients. Most recipes are one pan meals that can be made in 30 minutes or less. The few exceptions are slow cooker meals that are easy dump and go recipes. This meal plan is designed for people who love good food, but don’t want to devote hours to hard to make keto meals.
If you are looking for a way to loose weight, feel better and get your carb consumption under control this is it! Below you will find links to each recipe, including net carb count and how much each recipe yields. You can also check out all of my keto recipes here. Thank you for the kind words Diane! It is my pleasure!
Wow, thank-you fro he great recipes and printables! I’m curious, have you done Keto, I am new to it. Should a person add veggies to the meal plans? And… what do you do for lunches?
Hi Karen,
Yes I’ve done keto for about a year and reached my goal weight last fall. It is certainly an adjustment but I found it to be worth it! As for the vegetables I do eat low carb veggies such as green beans, zucchini, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, collard greens, kale, spinach. I also eat peppers in moderation. I just fit them in with my meals as my carbs allow. For example, if I’ve done something like a few sausage and egg bites for breakfast, a lettuce wrap for lunch and I’m having Keto Jalapeno Chicken for dinner I have enough room in my carb count to add some veggies.
As for lunch, you can search “keto bites” on this site and I do these a lot for lunch, they are great for meal prep and they are about 1 net carb each or I do a lettuce wrap with turkey, bacon provolone and avocado. I hope that helps!
I am trying to download the printable PDF and I can not get any of them to open. I tried a different browser to and that did not work. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Carrie, I checked and they seem to be working fine. You may have an ad blocker that is preventing the pdf from loading. Here is a link to week one: https://www.maebells.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Week-1-Easy-Keto-Meal-Plan-Maebells.pdf

How many servings are these? I want my family to go keto and I’m finding lots of recipes but we are a family of 9 and I know this shopping list will not feed us all.
Hi Heather, each serving size is listed under the photos with the descriptions.
Hi, thank you so much for these recipes and the meal plans! They look so good and I love the way that they use SIMPLE ingredients. Question: when using the meal plans, do you recommend mixing them up so you have something different for the week? I hope that makes sense.
Thank you for the simple meal plans. The chili and the jalapeno chicken were delicious! thank you again for your hard work.
I’m new to Keto, and have no idea what I’m doing, but with your recipes, I hope I’ll succeed!
I hope the meal plan helps! My later plans (starting with Week 17) have meal prep tips for each dinner as well in case that may help even further!
So glad I stumbled across your blog and meal plans. I too have celiac and its difficult finding meal plans that don’t have the weirdest (and most expensive) ingredients. I just want something simple. These are perfect. What do you suggest for lunches?
