I have been working on giving our master bathroom a budget friendly facelift. When we moved into our house it was one of the rooms that puzzled me the most because the previous owners had added a really nice oversize subway tile shower, but they left the rest of the room completely standard builders grade. The room just felt a little off. My goal was to change up a few things to make the space feel a bit cohesive. Since the shower is subway tile I decided to go with a modern farmhouse feel. I want to keep things simple with a black and white color scheme and strip the existing vanity to highlight the natural wood grain. I will have a post detailing how I made my builders grade oak cabinets more modern in another post soon, but I’m sharing some of my other inspiration with you today.
