Place the roast directly in the crock pot. You do not need to sear or apply anything to the meat. Just be sure you choose the correct size crock pot.

Add the ranch seasoning, jarred pepperoncini peppers and 1/4 cup of the brine the peppers are in.

Top the roast with the butter!

Secure the lid on the crock pot and cook on low 6-8 hours.

The roast is done when it is easily shreds with a fork. You can discard the peppers if you wish, or you can simply shred them with the meat for a burst of flavor.
